2022-02-11 – Authorities warn of a wave of fraudulent calls (vishing). Callers pretend to be representatives of a trusted company (such as Microsoft) and use various tactics (and threats) to persuade users to install a program on their computer to help with a computer attack. In reality, however, this installation leads to computer attacks and theft of passwords or money. Do not follow the suspicious instructions over the phone and contact the Police of the Czech Republic directly.

2021-09-28 – False replies to actual emails sent. The attacker breaks into the email inbox of someone you texted and sends you a reply. With a link to a fraudulent advertising site, with malware file, etc., but because it’s a response to a real email, it feels credible.
